AUREL VLAICU

1882 – 1913

Engineer, inventor and pioneer of Romanian and world aeronautics

Aurel Vlaicu - was a Romanian engineer, inventor and pioneer of Romanian and world aviation.
In 1908 he built a glider with which he performed a number of flights. In 1909 he moved to Bucharest as an employee of the Army Arsenal where he built the Vlaicu-I plane, with which he made several flights in the country, and in 1911 he participated in the international air rally from Aspern - Austria, together with pilots from 7 other countries.
Post-mortem member of the Romanian Academy.

In 2020, it will be 110 years since this event, on which occasion the PRO-CW-Club issued this certtificate.

In order to obtain the certificate,  are required QSO's performed since 1 January 2000, the date of establishment PRO-CW-CLUB.

QSOs are required with stations whose last letter in the suffix of the callsign corresponds to the letters:

A total of 34 QSO's of which at least 5 stations must be from Romania and Moldova: YO, YP, YQ, YR, ER. 

All modes and bands is allowed.
Special notification for the certificate obtained with QSO's only in CW.

Do not count QSO’s via repeaters, echo-link, satelite or cross-band.

This award is FREE of charge for all applicants.

Inginer, inventator şi pionier al aeronauticii române şi mondiale

Aurel Vlaicu  - a fost un inginer român, inventator şi pionier al aviaţiei române şi mondiale.

În anul 1908 construieşte un planor cu care efectuează un număr de zboruri. În 1909 se mută la Bucureşti ca angajat la Arsenalul Armatei unde construieşte avionul Vlaicu-I, cu care face mai multe zboruri în ţară, iar în 1911 participă la mitingul aerian internaţional de la Aspern – Austria, alături de piloţi din alte 7 ţări.

Membru post-mortem al Academiei Române.

În anul 2020 se împlinesc 110 ani de la acest eveniment, ocazie cu care PRO-CW-Club a emis această diplomă.

Pentru obţinerea diplomei sunt valabile QSO-urile efectuate începând cu 1 Ianuarie 2000, data înfiinţării PRO-CW-CLUB.

Sunt necesare QSO-uri cu staţii a cărui ultimă literă din sufixul indicativului corespunde cu literele de mai jos:

În total 34 QSO-uri din care cel puţin 10 trebuie să fie din România şi Moldova:  YO, YP, YQ, YR, ER.

Se pot utiliza toate modurile de lucru.
La cerere se poate face notificare specială pe diploma obţinută pentru QSO-uri numai în CW.
Nu sunt valabile legăturile prin repetoare, satelit şi cross-band.
Diploma este GRATUITĂ.
